Pevely, MO (August 7th, 2010) Bobby Bittle took the lead at the drop of the green flag from his front row pole starting spot and never looked back. Bittle led from flag to flag for the win. Jeff Leka took over the second spot early in the main event, but was unable to make a serious threat for the lead as Bittle worked lapped traffic flawlessly. Rusty Griffaw would finish third, a few car-lengths behind Leka. Paul Bauman would finish a distant fourth with Ken Rumble taking fifth. Bittle was flying through the field and lapped all but the first eight finishers.

Tim Shaffer Slices to Win Opener of the Ironman 55 at I-55 Raceway |
Pevely, MO-August 6, 2010- Tim Shaffer has been the hottest driver in all of racing over the last week. Heading into the opener of the Ironman 55 weekend on Friday night at I-55 Raceway, the veteran had won in four straight starts over a six-day span. He extended that streak to five consecutive wins in seven days, as he was victorious in the opener of the two-day event at the high-banked 1/3-mile bullring.
Shaffer started on the front row of the 30-lapper and chased Jason Sides, who started on the pole, in the early going. For Shaffer, it was his first World of Outlaws win of the season and the 13th of his career.

Pevely, MO (July 24th, 2010) Mother Nature was insistent on interrupting the action at I-55 Raceway. A brief shower moved over the track as the first main event of the night, which was the UMP DIRTcar Late Models, rolled onto the track. The cars quickly exited the track and fans took cover from the rain, but the shower would only last a few minutes. Crews quickly worked the track back in and the UMP DIRTcar Late Models rolled back onto the track for their main event. Ken Schrader would take the lead at the drop of the green flag and would lead all twenty-five laps, although he would face a constant challenge from Jason McBride. The race was slowed on several different occasions as the caution flag flew for several single and multi-car incidents. Throughout all the restarts, Schrader would prove too strong and hold off McBride for the win. Jeff Johns would take third while Brian Wolfmeier crossed the line fourth. Ken Rumble rounded out the top five.
