Ironman 55 at Federated Auto Parts Raceway Postponed to a Date to be Announced

PEVELY, MO — August 5, 2017 — As the second World of Outlaws Craftsman® Sprint Car Series qualifying heat race was taking the track at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55, a pesky rain set in over the Pevely, MO-area, forcing Officials to postpone the second night of the Ironman 55 event to a date to be announced at a later day. Tickets and armbands for Saturday’s Ironman event will be honored at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 for the future rain date. No refunds will be given at ticket gates or office. The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series continue to Knoxville Raceway for the 57th annual 5-hour ENERGY Knoxville Nationals beginning on Wednesday, August 9 continuing through Saturday, August 12, 2017.

Daryn Pittman takes Prelude To The Ironman win at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55!

PEVELY, MO – August 5, 2017 – It’s been a long time coming for Daryn Pittman, who secured his first win of the season Friday night at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55. The 2014 World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series Champion has had a trying season by his standards. Friday night, he was able to fend off the eight-time and defending Series Champion Donny Schatz, including on a late-race restart with six laps to go. “Man, I needed that. I think this team needed that,” a relieved Daryn Pittman said upon exiting his Great Clips No. 9 for his first win of the 2017 season Friday night at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55. The Craftsman Club Dash draw was four putting Sheldon Haudenschild and Paul McMahan on the front row. Kyle Schuett Takes Career-First POWRi National Victory at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55!

Pevely, MO (August 4th, 2017) – Kyle Schuett of Philo, Illinois led all 30 laps of the POWRi Lucas Oil National and West Midget League feature event to claim the Prelude to the Ironman at the Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55. Schuett’s Prelude to the Ironman is his first-career POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget League victory. Schuett was the 2015 POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget League Rookie of the Year and is a graduate of the POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro League. Starting inside the second row, Schuett charged past the front row of pole sitter Tyler Thomas and Jake Neuman into turn one. Holding the lead off two, Schuett set a rapid pace, running the bottom while Thomas and Tucker Klaasmeyer gave chase.
